Audi Hungaria: The Most Popular Győr Models Audi A3 Limousine And A3 Cabriolet Renewed

Ingolstadt/Győr, 6 April 2016—The Audi A3 model family including the Győr-made models Audi A3 Limousine and Cabriolet now come up with new driver assistant systems, new engines and redesigned headlights and rear lights.

One of the onboard innovations is the Audi virtual cockpit, an innovative operating and display system. The new A3 is available in 3-door, Sportback, Limousine and Cabriolet design. The sporty Audi S3 has a lot of innovations to show, and is even more dynamical than the previous models.

The design of the new Audi A3 is even more sporty and characteristic: the one-piece radiator grill is now wider, with stronger outlines. The headlights are now flatter, and their outlines have become stronger, too.

With the horizontal outlines of the rear lights and the edge above the redesigned diffuser, the rear of the new A3 emphasizes the width of the vehicle.

The color palette has been extended, too: now there are 12 colors to choose from, including 5 new colors: ara blue, cosmos blue, nano grey, tango red and Vegas yellow. The Daytona grey pearl color is exclusively available to the S line exterior trim package.

The Audi A3 series includes 6 engines, 3 gasoline and 3 diesel engines. Power ranges from 81 kW (110 horsepower) to 140 kW (190 horsepower). Each A3 model complies with the Euro 6 standards for exhaust emissions.

Over 240,000 Audi A3 Limousines have been manufactured in the entire production depth at the vehicle factory of Audi Hungaria, since it was opened in 2013.

 This Győr-made model is very popular worldwide; its biggest market is the United States. Over 40,000 pieces of the top-down Audi A3 Cabriolet models have been manufactured at Audi Hungaria, most of which were sold in Germany.

Currently, over 4,000 employees work at the Vehicle Production department of Audi Hungaria, in 3 shifts.
