Harmony on Stage and on the Road: The Győr Philharmonic Orchestra in Audis from Győr

Győr, 31 May 2016—Evers since Audi Hungaria was established in 1993, it is a devoted sponsor of the cultural life of the region. In the spirit of social responsibility, the engine- and vehicle manufacturer of Győr signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Győr in 2015. As part of this cooperation,
Dr. Elisabeth Knab, Member of the Board of Management for Human Resources of AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft. presented two glacier white Audi A3 Limousines to the orchestra, both of which were manufactured fully in Győr.

“Both accuracy and perfect harmony between the artists are inevitable for an orchestra to become successful and popular with the audience. We at Audi Hungaria strive for the same accuracy, so we can impress our customers with our products”, Dr. Elisabeth Knab said. “Audi Hungaria represents premium quality in the automotive industry, just as the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra in the music industry, with its countless successful performances worldwide.”

The two vehicles will be used by first-chair oboist Szilárd Karvaly and first-chair cellist Sándor Stampf. Beside the Philharmonic Orchestra of Győr, Audi Hungaria has also been the main sponsor of the Ballet Company of Győr since 2002. Audi Hungaria supports several other cultural events and initiatives as well, including the Hungarian Dance Festival or the gala concert of the event series called Summer in Győr, featuring international star performers.
