Győr, May 6, 2019 – Achim Heinfling, Chairman of the Board of AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt. and Sándor Mátrabérci, Audi Brand Director of Porsche Hungaria, handed over the first Audi e-tron put into circulation in Hungary to Árpád Németh, the new owner.
The Audi e-tron, the brand's first purely electric drive SUV model with 360 HP, is not only sporty but also ideal for everyday use. It has two electric motors constructed in Győr and an electric all-wheel drive, providing remarkable driving performance and agile steering.
The series production of electric motors started in the summer of 2018 at Audi Hungaria, which marked the start of the era of electromobility in Győr. In the future, electric cars will also be produced in addition to electric motors at the Company.
