Győr, 11 July 2019 – At Széchenyi István University, 17 engineering students are attending a four-week technical summer course entitled Development Camp, where in the recently opened Management Campus building, they can work on the development and simulation of hybrid drive systems in projects assigned by Audi Hungaria, forming four international teams. The aim of the camp is to expand the students' competences in the area of complex problem solving, and all this is a competitive, playful, but at the same time very intensive form.
The students from nine countries are assisted in solving the development objectives by German and Italian Formula One star engineers and experienced experts from Audi Hungaria as mentors. At the end of the final week, the student teams present their results and innovative ideas to the course mentors, as well as to experts from the four ring company, and the winner will be awarded a prize.
The university students also attend lectures, training sessions, competence development courses and plant visits, the camp also being made more colourful by leisure time activities in some cases. The enthusiastic students are enriched with many valuable professional experiences, as well as learning much from the mentoring experts and from each other.
