Audi A3 Limousine with Blue Flashers on the Hungarian Roads

Audi Hungaria is to contribute to traffic safety: Thomas Faustmann, Chief Executive Officer of Audi Hungaria and Gerd Walker, Managing Director for Vehicle Production of Audi Hungaria handed over a brand new police car, an A3 Limousine, to Gábor Csizmadia, Chief of the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Police.

“Corporate social responsibility is important for us”, said Thomas Faustmann, Chief Executive Officer of Audi Hungaria. “The A3 Limousine is our new product, with which we are going to help day-to-day police activities, greatly contributing to the improvement of traffic safety in the region.”

The glacier white Limousine is equipped with a high-powered, 1.8 litre turbo-charged engine to facilitate rapid response in road traffic. The car’s 18-inch wheels guarantee a perfect grip on the road.  

In addition, successful police work will be supported by a number of high technology information systems, including built-in Audi connect internet services, as well as driver assistance systems, such as Audi side assist or Audi lane assist. The innovative LED headlights accentuate the pronounced styling of the A3 and boost its prowess, but a police lightbar, LEDs and siren have also been installed to top this all off.

“The Audi A3 Limousine is the first model to be fully made at our plant in Győr. We are very glad to be able to make this car available to the police from now on. The agility of the 1.8 litre turbo-charged engine and the car’s high-tech equipment facilitate safe and fast response”, said Gerd Walker, Managing Director for Vehicle Production at Audi Hungaria.

The A3 Limousine is Audi Hungaria’s third flagship model to assist the work of the county police. The company handed over a TT Coupe to the Police Headquarters in 2005 and also in 2008, which have been in service on Hungarian roads ever since.
