Audi Hungaria Donates an Audi TTS to Győr Police

• An Audi TTS Coupé with a 2.0 TFSI engine is the newest squad car to be used by the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Police Headquarters

Győr, 20 April 2015 – AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft. supports the work of the police with a new squad car. Dr. h.c. Thomas Faustmann, Audi Hungaria’s Chairman of the Board of Managementand Gerd Walker, Member of the Board of Managementfor Vehicle Production have today handed over an Audi TTS Coupé to Police Brigadier General Gábor Csizmadia, Chief of the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Police. The vehicle was made entirely at the Győr plant.

“Corporate social responsibility is of outstanding importance for Audi Hungaria,” said Gerd Walker, Member of the Board of Managementfor Vehicle Production. “The Audi TTS Coupé we have donated today to the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Police Headquarters is a fascinating car which is going to contribute greatly to the success of the work of the police, and it will help increase traffic safety. This Audi TTS Coupé, manufactured at a premium quality by our dedicated team of workers at Audi Hungaria, is the fourth in a line of vehicles we have handed over to the police so far and it represents another important step forward for our corporate social responsibility activities.”

The ibis white Audi TTS Coupé features a high-power 2.0 TFSI engine. An innovative drivetrain and the 310 horsepower delivered by the engine are going to ensure quick reaction times whenever the car needs to go into action. Audi’s Matrix LED headlights will guarantee safety in all visibility conditions. The vehicle also comes equipped with the latest technology. Driver assistance systems will help keep the car’s occupants safe, and the police officers will be assisted every day in their highly responsible duties by the Infotainment Package which includes, among other things, Audi’s Virtual Dashboard.

After two Audi TT squad cars donated in 2005 and 2008, respectively, and an A3 Limousine given in December 2013, this TTS Coupé is the fourth vehicle the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Police Headquarters has received from Audi Hungaria. All previously donated cars are still in daily service.
