“It is a great honor for me that my work has earned me the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary. I was particularly pleased to receive the award from Minister Péter Szijjártó, who is a great supporter of the development of Audi Hungaria. Throughout my career, I have always taken on the task at hand with great motivation and willingness. I came to Hungary with the same enthusiasm and since then, I have been working every day to ensure that our company successfully meets the challenges of automotive transformation, offer our colleagues long-term, secure jobs, and work with our partners to train the next generation and create a more livable environment,” said Alfons Dintner, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria.
Alfons Dintner started his professional career at AUDI AG in Ingolstadt in 1987. He has been Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria since 1 October 2019. Under the leadership of Alfons Dintner, Audi Hungaria has further strengthened its vision and sustainability efforts by launching the new generation of electric motors, another milestone in the company’s road to electromobility. The future production of the CUPRA Terramar will bring a new brand model to Győr, creating additional synergies in the Volkswagen Group’s production network. The company, which has been carbon neutral in its balance sheet since 2020, remains committed to reducing its ecological footprint and improving the quality of life of those living in the region.
