“One of the cornerstones of our HR strategy is to ensure a supply of skilled labor force. The key to the transformation of the automotive industry is the continuous development of the competences of our employees and students. We also involve the youth in the production process, therefore, the close cooperation between production and training further enhances the effectiveness of our vocational training program. More than 2,500 students graduated in our dual vocational training program, which has been based on the German model since 2001 and is rather unique in Hungary. Nearly 1,000 of these students are currently employed at Audi Hungaria. I would like to thank all our trainers in the dual training program and the trainers in our partner institutions for their dedicated, professional and result-oriented work. I wholeheartedly congratulate our graduating students and wish them continued success in their professional careers,” said Kinga Németh, Member of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria responsible for Human Resources and Organization.
Together with its partner institutions, the company currently trains young people in 12 professions in automotive, electronics, metalworking and business areas, providing them with a wide range of theoretical and practical knowledge through the dual training. Of the 100 students who graduated this year, the majority intend to start their careers at Audi Hungaria.
AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt. was the first in Hungary to launch the dual vocational training model more than 23 years ago, which is now run together with the Győr Vocational Training Center and Audi Hungaria School Center Győr.
