In 2025, Audi Hungaria’s engine plant produced 1,585,290 drives (2024: 1,580,991), of which 264,871 (2024: 151,899) were electric. A total of 200,756 vehicles rolled off the production lines at the vehicle factory (2024: 179,710), including 128,946 Audi Q3 and Q3 Sportback (2024: 163,047) and 71,810 CUPRA Terramar models (2024: 16,663).
The company achieved sales of EUR 9,222 billion (2024: EUR 8,611 billion) and invested EUR 375 million (2024: EUR 340 million) in new technologies. The 2025 investments include the production integration of the new Audi Q3 generation and the installation of production equipment for the MEBeco electric motor generation. Since its foundation in 1993, the company has invested a total of 13,2 billion euros, making Audi Hungary’s largest foreign investor and leading automotive company.
“In 2025, we once again proved that stability, expertise and the commitment of our employees remain Audi Hungaria’s most important resources. In a difficult market situation, we have implemented targeted measures to strengthen our position in the global network of the Audi and Volkswagen Groups. Our powertrain and vehicle manufacturing products are successful, and we plan to maintain high capacity utilisation in the coming years,” said Michael Breme, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria.
Key achievements in the 2025 financial year included the completion of the 46 millionth drive at the engine plant and the preparation for the launch of the new generation of MEBeco electric motors. The one millionth second-generation Audi Q3 was completed and series production of the new third-generation Audi Q3 started. The company’s tool factory, one of the largest in the Central European region, celebrated its 20th anniversary. In the area of product development, the competences required for the development of e-drives was further enhanced. In services, the company was able to maintain a stable order book and capacity utilisation in 2025 despite internal and external competition.
In 2025, Audi Hungaria focused on strengthening its competitiveness. Through targeted measures, the company has reduced costs and increased efficiency. In addition, a comprehensive optimisation of organisational structures and the streamlining of administrative and production support areas has started.
At the end of 2025, Audi Hungaria, including the employees of its wholly owned subsidiary AUDI HUNGARIA AHEAD Kft., employed a total of 11,430 people (2024: 11,930).
