Audi Hungaria among the ten largest taxpayers in Hungary

Győr, May 24, 2024 - Today, on behalf of the Hungarian Government, Minister of Finance Mihály Varga welcomed Hungary's ten largest taxpaying companies, including the representatives of AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt., to the Ministry of Finance. 

On behalf of Audi Hungaria, Zoltán Les, Member of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria responsible for Vehicle Production, and Tünde Havassy, Head of Taxes/Customs /State Subsidies, received the certificate and plaque from Minister of Finance Mihály Varga.

Audi Hungaria, which employs nearly 12,000 people, is among the companies with the highest turnover (with a turnover of €9.102 billion last year), and one of the largest exporters in Hungary. Since its foundation, Audi Hungaria has invested more than €12.5 billion in Győr, making the company the biggest investor in the Hungarian automotive industry.
