The event was attended not only by Hungarian, but also by international streetball fans: besides Hungarians, there were teams from Slovakia, Mexico and Mongolia. This year's highlight of the Championship was the Audi Hungaria Skill Jam, where players could try their hand at basketball skill games similar to those played at the NBA All Star Game.
Corporate Social Responsibility has been a priority for Audi Hungaria since its existence. The Győr-based company announced this year that being a committed supporter of sports, it is expanding its sponsorship partnerships, which this year has been expanded with three new national-level partnerships, including the Hungarian Basketball Association.
Since 2006, Audi Hungaria has been a partner of one of the world’s most successful women’s handball teams, AUDI ETO KC Győr, and for two years now, of the kayaking and canoeing department of the Győr Water Sports Association as well, as a sponsor of grassroots sports. The company supports sports for people with disabilities through its cooperation with Staféta Student Sports Association, EMBERsÉG DSE and Malta House of Care.
