In the category "Best Net Zero Solution" of the award, established by CSR Hungary, Audi Hungaria's actions and achievements were recognized in reducing carbon emissions. Audi Hungaria has been carbon neutral since 2020 and is constantly introducing new solutions to reduce emissions. At the heart of the company's environmental strategy is the Mission:Zero program, which aims to reduce the ecological footprint of its manufacturing and logistics processes. The four pillars of the carbon neutrality actions are energy efficiency improvements, such as the expansion of the company's solar park, the use of renewable energy from own and purchased sources, and offsetting unavoidable emissions. These, together with a range of other conservation, resource efficiency and water protection measures, contribute to sustainable operations.
Audi Hungaria's annual volunteering program was recognized in the "Best CSR Program" category. In addition to traditional fundraising, the program includes volunteering both in everyday life and on Volunteer Day. As a special feature of the "Social Day” organized in 2025, this year's volunteer day included not only company projects but also projects proposed by employees. The projects, created with the manual work of hundreds of employees and the financial support of the company, have made the functioning of institutions and communities in the region more livable and easier. Programs included renovating the infrastructure of schools, children's homes, sports clubs and animal shelters, environmental campaigns, fundraising, tutoring children or organizing musical evenings in old people’s homes.
“It is a great honor for us to have received recognition in two different areas at the CSR Hungary Awards. This proves that sustainability and social responsibility are not only a goal but also a daily practice at Audi Hungaria. I'm proud of our excellent professionals and volunteers who, year after year, are happy to spend their free time helping those in need and contributing to making the world of our region a better place to live," said Kinga Németh, Member of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria responsible for Human Resources and Organization.
The CSR Award encourages Hungarian companies to operate responsibly and sets an example in spreading good practices.
