“I would like to thank Robert Buttenhauser for his work as a board member, playing a key role in the transformation of the world’s largest powertrain manufacturer. This includes the commissioning and ramping up production of the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) electric motor generation, Audi Hungaria’s first large-scale electric drive. He and his team also brought the MEBeco, the next generation of the Group’s electric motor, to Győr and prepared its production accordingly. With his commitment to the future production of the next generation of electric motors, he played a major role in preparing our engine company for the future. I express my gratitude to Mr. Buttenhauser for his commitment and hard work for Audi Hungaria over the past four years. I wish him continued success in his new position,” said Michael Breme, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria.
