Acoustic excellence in the Audi Q3 made in Győr

Győr, 11 December 2025 – The new Audi Q3 sets new standards in many areas, including acoustics: the entire acoustic development was carried out at Audi Hungaria's competence centre. From simulations to active engine sound, the experts in Győr have brought a whole range of innovations to new levels of interior and exterior sound comfort.

The acoustic development was aimed at significantly improving noise comfort through FEM simulations, new materials and aeroacoustic optimisation. The result: a quieter cabin, refined premium sound and innovative features.

 

The team in Győr has developed a new acoustic concept for the boot lid that effectively reduces low-frequency sounds. In addition, optional soundproof glazing has been introduced to provide excellent noise attenuation.

Audi Hungaria is using active engine sound technology for the first time, and it offers a dynamic driving experience. The development complies with new European noise regulations and will be available in future models as well.
