Packages bought or collected by the Audi employees include durable food, hygiene products, toys, sports equipment and books to make the holidays brighter for those in need.
“We have collected a good number of donations in the last period to help our fellow human beings who are going through a difficult time and are in need. We would like to make the holidays more beautiful for them” - said Kinga Németh, Member of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria responsible for Human Resources and Organization, and the main patron of the donation program.
“In today's world, everyone is striving for innovation and renewal, and people think that's where success lies. I think it is also important to continue to build on existing good relations and practices. A good example of this is our relationship with Audi Hungaria, which we can both rely on and which provides stability for both of us. This is proven by our cooperation of more than ten years, which is a success every year” - said Rita Rákosi-Tóth, director of the donation center 'Fogadó'.
“Since the beginning, we have been an active supporter of the campaign 'Giving is good'. This initiative is very close to our hearts, as social responsibility and solidarity are among our core values. Of course, our entire office immediately joined this noble cause as a team, and also as an organization, on behalf of the Audi Hungaria Independent Trade Union. It is important to help those in need all year round, but this time of year we need to reach out to them even more as the holidays approach.” - said Szilvia Bujáki Novákné, Member of the Board of the Audi Hungária Independent Trade Union.
Corporate Social Responsibility has been a priority for Audi Hungaria since its foundation, thus contributing to improving the quality of life of people living in the Győr region. This year, the company has extended its opportunities for voluntary assistance to the whole year, thus 2024 has been the year of “Volunteering all year round”.
On the Volunteer Day titled “It’s good to do good!” this September, our staff supported sports for people with disabilities by building a mobile grandstand, renovating a gym, renovating rooms used for physical education and sports activities, and participating in the sports day “Sport Makes You Equal” for people with disabilities.
