"Doing good is good - we believe in and have been living by this motto for years, whether it's setting up a donation centre, renovating a school gym or a retirement home. I am grateful that our employees also feel the importance of volunteering, and together we experience the positive power of doing good deeds to bring people together," said Kinga Németh, Member of the Board of Directors of Audi Hungaria, responsible for Human Resources and Organization.

This year, Audi Hungaria employees have undertaken three different volunteer projects, supported by the company with donations.

In the ”Right to the last screw" project, employees of Audi built a mobile grandstand for the Staféta Student Sports Association in Győr and renovated a gym to facilitate the preparation for future competitions and the daily exercise of disadvantaged children and youngsters with learning difficulties.

In the Bárczi Gusztáv Kindergarten, Primary School, Skills Development School and College, also in Győr, volunteers helped renovate the rooms used for physical education and sports activities as part of the ”With two Hands for the Young Generation" project.

Audi Hungaria and the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta jointly organised a sports day for people with disabilities titled “Sport Makes You Equal". Audi Hungaria employees were involved in organizing of the competition, and also took part in the team competitions.

Audi Hungaria's year 2024 will be a year of volunteering, with employees doing good deeds in other areas besides these three major projects. They tutor students, give concerts at community centres, organize litter picking campaigns and support small and medium-sized enterprises in the region through knowledge transfer.

Social responsibility is a key priority in Audi Hungaria's strategy. The company is a committed supporter of the kayak-canoe division of the Győr Water Sports Association, the Staféta Student Sports Association, the EMBERsÉG DSE and the “House of Providence” of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service. With these partnerships, Audi Győr is supporting not only competitive sports but also recreational sports and sports for people with disabilities.
